Role: Designer & Artist
• Designed game mechanics:
o Implemented a cold mechanic for characters, incorporating a healing mechanism near campfires and variations in the accumulation rate of cold values across different levels.
o Defined the mobility parameters for characters, including jump height, double jump height when landing on monsters, lateral jump distance, swimming speed, and overall movement speed.
o Worm Enemies and Level Integration: designed four types of worm enemies and their applications within the game levels. This involved specifying their behaviors, interactions with the player, and placement in the level design.
• Level Design:
o Illustrated and crafted five distinct levels for the game, incorporating various elements such as obstacles, terrain, and interactive mechanisms.
o Devised the themes for each level, establishing the overall aesthetic and atmosphere.
o Determined the positions of interactive Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) within the levels, facilitating player engagement and storytelling opportunities.
• 2d art:
o Created the tilemaps for the game, defining the visual layout of the game environment, including ground patterns, obstacles, and other elements.
o Produced the background images for each game level, establishing the scenic backdrop and enhancing the overall ambiance.
o Draw sprite sheets for the in-game monsters, capturing various animations and poses for their visual representation in the game.
